DIY How to make a miniature Wheelbarrow Planter

This step by step diy project is about how to build a miniature wheelbarrow planter & flower pots with full instruction images.
Materials
- Popsicle sticks
- Cardboard
- Air-dry clay
- Acrylic color
- Master Pastel
Tools
- Paper-Knife
- Hobby-Knife
- White Glue
- E6000 Glue
Making the Wheelbarrow Planter with Popsicle Sticks & CardBoard
Making the Wheel
- Step 1: Draw the wheel to the cardboard as in the image, with a 25mm & 20mm radius for large circle and 5mm radius for small circle.
- Step 2 & 3: Using the hobby knife to cut 2 wheels & 2 small circles as in the image.
- Step 4: Cut a piece of popsicle stick 40mm long (the axle) and put it through the hole of the wheel.
Building the tray of the wheelbarrow
- Step 5: Cut the popsicle sticks & Cardboard and refer to the diagram for cutting sizes.
- Step 6: Add glue to connect posicle sticks for 2 sides & front walls of the tray as in the image. Place the bottom wall into 2 longest posicle sticks & glue them together, Make sure there is enough room between the handles to fit the wheel.
- Step 7: Glue 4 sides to the bottom as in the image.
- Step 8, 9: Turn the barrow upside down. Using two 35mm popsicle sticks and glue them to the bottom side.
- Step 10, 11: Installing the wheel to the handles, cutting the axle to fix the place between the handles, add glue to connect the axle with the handles.
- Step 12, 13, 14: Finally, using acrylic color to paint the tray & wheel with brown & dark brown color.
