DIY Miniature Cardboard House: Bathroom, Kitchen, Bedroom, Living Room for a family | Full Video with Dimensions

You will love this Family Room with Bathroom, Kitchen, Bedroom and Living Room as it complements your other miniature dollhouse furnishings. 

There are a few tools that made these doll house pieces possible…or at least much easier. I’ll tell you what I used:

Materials:

- Cardboard
- Wall paper, gift wrapping paper
- Glitter Foam Sheet
- Glue Gun / Super Glue or E6000 Glue, UHU Glue, Siliglue, ...
- Cutting Mat
- Utility Knife

 

Let's start!

Step 1: making the walls and floor

Cut 3 pieces Cardboard with the dimensions: 28 x 17cm, 20 x 17cm, 28 x 20cm. Using the wallpaper for wrapping them. Glue them together and we got the frame of the room.

The dimensions for the toilet floor & wall: 7 x 10 cm & 7 x 12cm, 6 x 12cm.

 

Step 2: Making the Fridge

Cut some of pieces Cardboard with the dimensions:  4 x 10cm (cut 2), 5 x 10cm (cut 2), 5 x 4.6cm (cut 2). Wrap them with white paper. Cut two pieces of glitter foam sheet for making the fridge doors. Glue them together and you will have the Fridge.

 

Step 3: Making the kitchen cabinet

Cut some of pieces Cardboard with the dimensions:  12.5 x 5cm (cut 2), 12.5 x 4.6cm (cut 2), 5 x 4cm (cut 2). Glue and wrap them with wallpaper. Cut four pieces of glitter foam sheet for making the cabinet doors and drawers. Glue them together and you will have the Kitchen Cabinet.

 

Step 4: Making the bed

Cut the cardboard with the dimensions: 9 x 8cm, 9 x 3.5cm (cut 2), 8 x 8cm (cut 2), 8 x 5.5cm (cut 2). Wrap them with white paper and glitter foam sheet. Glue them together, decor with pillows and mattress and you will have the bed:

 

Step 5: Making the beside cabinet

Cut the cardboard with the dimensions: 4.5 x 4.1cm (cut 2), 3.5 x 3.5cm (cut 2), 4.5 x 3.5cm (cut 2). Wrap them with white paper and glitter foam sheet. Glue them together and you will have the cabinet:

 Decor the bedroom as you like. Now we have the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom.

 

Step 6: Making the sofa 

Cut the cardboard with the dimensions: 10 x 4cm, 5 x 12cm (cut 2), 10 x 3cm (cut 2), 4 x 4.6cm (cut 4). Wrap them with green paper and glitter foam sheet. Glue them together and you will have the sofa:

 

 

Step 7: Making the table

Cut the cardboard with the dimensions: 4 x 6cm, 4 x 2.5cm (cut 2). Wrap them with glitter foam sheet. Glue them together and you will have the table:

  

 

Step 8: Decor your room

  

Finnaly, you have the family room with Bathroom, Bedroom, Kitchen and the Living Room.
